Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home health team. This role is ideal for new graduates or experienced CNAs who are eager to gain hands‑on experience while providing one‑on‑one care to patients in their homes. You’ll receive guidance, training, and support as you help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in a familiar environment. What You’ll Do Assist patients in their homes with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility Support patient comfort, dignity, and independence through compassionate care Take and document basic vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as trained Assist with basic care tasks (such as repositioning, skin checks, and personal hygiene) under nurse supervision Provide support and companionship to elderly clients, including those with memory loss or early stages of dementia Safely assist with transfers and mobility, including use of equipment (training provided) Document care provided using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines Communicate observations or concerns to supervising nurses or care coordinators Travel between client homes according to your schedule What We’re Looking For Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (new graduates welcome) Desire to work in home health or community‑based care Willingness to learn and follow care plans and supervision guidance Basic computer skills or willingness to learn EMR documentation Ability to work respectfully with seniors and individuals with physical or cognitive challenges Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable transportation for travel between client homes Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Work Location: In person
